Exercises & Programs

Building a therapy program (HEP)

A therapy (home exercise program) is a named list of exercises with your prescribed parameters.

Creating one

  1. Go to Library → New Therapy.
  2. Name it clearly — the patient sees this name. "Knee rehab — phase 1" beats "Program 3".
  3. Add exercises from the library.

Per-exercise parameters

For every exercise in a program you can set:

  • Repetitions and sets
  • Rest between sets (seconds)
  • Load (e.g. "2 kg", "red band")
  • Duration for time-based exercises
  • Day and week — use these to structure multi-week programs; the patient sees exercises grouped accordingly
  • Custom instructions — override the default text when you want to add patient-specific cues

Reordering

Drag exercises to change their order. The patient sees them in exactly the order you set.

Pro tip: don't repeat yourself

If you prescribe similar programs often, build it once and use Duplicate to copy it for each new patient, then tweak the details. See the article on templates.
