Your Program

How often should I exercise — and what if I miss a day?

The rhythm

Move8 guides you through one session per day — after finishing you'll see "Session done · Come back tomorrow". How many sessions per week are right for you is your therapist's call; it's usually in the program description or their message at the top of the program. If in doubt, ask in Messages — don't guess.

If you missed a day

Don't try to do two sessions to "catch up" — just continue with the next session today. Consistency over weeks matters far more than any single day. Your streak restarting is not a failure; it's a nudge.

Tricks that make it stick

  • Same time every day. Attach the session to an existing habit — after morning coffee, after the evening news.
  • Start from Home. Your program card is the first thing on the Home screen — one tap and the session starts.
  • Do the daily check-in while you're there; seeing your own trend is motivating, and your therapist uses it too.
  • Watch your achievements under Analytics — completed sessions and streaks add up faster than you'd think.
  • Keep the phone awake during sessions: raise the screen timeout in your phone's settings so the display doesn't sleep between sets.

When to stop

Sharp or increasing pain means stop and message your therapist — see "It hurts when I exercise".
