Account & Billing

Deleting your account and your data

You can leave Move8 whenever you want.

How

  1. Open Profile and scroll to the bottom — the danger zone section handles account deletion.
  2. Follow the confirmation steps. If you were invited by a therapist, the flow tells you how deletion affects the connection to their records.

If anything blocks you (or you'd rather we do it), open a support ticket below from your account's email address and request deletion — we'll confirm by email before removing anything.

What deletion means

  • Your login, profile, messages, check-ins and progress in Move8 are removed.
  • Active subscriptions should be cancelled first (Profile → Billing → Manage) — deletion of the account doesn't retroactively refund charges.
  • Your therapist keeps their own medical records independently of Move8 — deleting your Move8 account doesn't touch those; talk to the clinic about them directly.

Not sure you want the full delete?

If you just want fewer emails, turn them off under Profile → Notifications. If you're pausing therapy, you can simply stop using the app — nothing charges you unless you have a paid subscription.

For the details, see our Privacy Policy.

Still stuck? We're happy to help directly.
